WAYS TO SERVE in THE COMMUNITY
S.O.S. Homeless Shelter
The S.O.S. (Shelter at Orenco Station) is a cooperative effort of 36 churches that are attempting to address the very real needs of the homeless population in Western Washington County. For the coldest winter months, the shelter provides a warm evening meal, a warm place to stay overnight, and breakfast in the morning. Visit www.sos-shelter.org to learn more!
Project Homeless Connect
This is a one-day outreach to our homeless friends in Washington County. It started as once per year event, but has grown to multiple times per year. If you are looking for more details or have any questions, please visit phcwashco.org or contact Kim Marshall at email@example.com.
Come out every first Saturday of the month to split and stack wood at the Sonrise Hillsboro campus. We deliver to those in most need during late summer/early fall months (before winter). We provide a heat source to those who can’t afford it in the colder months of the year. If you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Outpost at Shute Park
Every summer we provide free lunch program to children at Shute Park in Hillsboro. You can help provide children a free nutritious lunch, fun activities and positive experience during the summer! (June-August). If you have any questions, please email email@example.com
